Doha: The Lawyers Admission Committee convened today under the leadership of HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, to address several agenda items. Three newly qualified lawyers were among the key highlights of the meeting as they took the legal oath before the Committee. Having completed their training at the Legal and Judicial Studies Center at the Ministry of Justice and undergone practical training at various Qatari law firms, these lawyers were officially registered in the Roll of Practicing Lawyers.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Committee also evaluated applications from professionals with equivalent qualifications who are seeking registration in the Roll of Practicing Lawyers. It approved several trainee lawyer registration applications and reviewed requests to transfer lawyers to the Roll of Practicing Lawyers authorized to appear before courts of various levels.
The Committee further examined procedural matters and regulatory frameworks related to the legal profession. This included reports from its subcommittees, with appropriate decisions made regarding them.
At the meeting's conclusion, HE Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi extended congratulations to the newly admitted lawyers. He reaffirmed the Committee's commitment to creating a supportive professional environment that enables lawyers to effectively perform their duties. He noted that this effort contributes to strengthening the legal and judicial system in Qatar and serves the community.
