Doha: HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, engaged in a meeting with Amer Al Ali, Head of the Central Authority for Supervision and Inspection (CASI) of the Syrian Arab Republic, along with his accompanying delegation during their visit to Doha. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry and CASI, exploring methods to strengthen and develop their collaborative efforts.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Syrian delegation was presented with an overview of the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Unit's specializations. This presentation highlighted the Unit's efforts in supervision and inspection related to these critical areas. The Syrian delegation commended the Ministry of Justice for its work and its innovative legal approach.
The Syrian delegation also expressed a desire to bolster joint efforts, exchange expertise, and share data in the fields of legal and supervisory work. They emphasized the importance of exchanging strategies to enhance supervision, combat corruption, and address money laundering, while making informed decisions to advance legal operations between the two nations.
