Doha: HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, Minister of Labour and Chair of the Workforce Planning Committee, led the Committee's regular meeting today. The meeting reviewed the latest updates in the national labour sector and discussed initiatives and projects planned for implementation in 2025 as part of the National Strategy for an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce. These efforts aim to enhance national talent, attract highly skilled expatriate workers, and increase the participation of Qatari nationals in the private sector.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the strategic goals of bolstering the national workforce and integrating more Qatari nationals into the private sector. The planned initiatives are expected to play a crucial role in addressing future labour market needs and ensuring a balanced and sustainable workforce in the country.
