Minister of State at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Discusses Middle East and Africa Developments with Belgian Deputy Prime Minister


Brussels: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, engaged in a meeting with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium, Maxime Prevot. The meeting took place in Brussels on Monday.



According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on cooperation relations between Qatar and Belgium, exploring ways to support and enhance these ties. The meeting also addressed the latest regional and international developments, with particular attention to the Middle East and Africa, alongside various topics of mutual interest.



The Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation expressed appreciation for Qatar’s ongoing efforts in joint mediation to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. He also acknowledged Qatar’s support for the African Union’s initiatives to resolve the crisis between the Republic of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
