Doha: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, recently hosted Mr. Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine, during his visit to the country. The meeting focused on evaluating and enhancing the cooperation between Qatar and Palestine. Key topics of discussion included the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as several other issues of mutual interest. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar's unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian cause. He emphasized Qatar's commitment to the resilience of the Palestinian people, grounded in international legitimacy resolutions and advocating for a two-state solution. This solution aims to establish an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
