Seoul: HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of QatarEnergy, Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, conducted a series of meetings on Monday during a working visit to the Republic of Korea, focusing on enhancing joint cooperation between the two nations. According to Qatar News Agency, discussions were held with HE Korean Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy, Ahn Dukgeun. The talks centered around strengthening bilateral relations, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector. The meeting highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two countries in this field. In addition to the discussions with the Korean Minister, HE Minister Al Kaabi also engaged in talks with the CEO of Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS). The discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and expanding business relations. KOGAS is recognized as a significant buyer of Qatari LNG, underscoring the mutual interests and potential for further collaboration between Qatar and the Republic of Korea in the energ y domain.
