Doha: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed, met on Thursday, virtually, with HE Minister of Economy and Industry of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mohammad Nedal Alchaar. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries in the trade, investment and industrial fields, as well as ways to promote economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest, in order to support trade exchange and enhance the prospects of partnership between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues for economic engagement. Both ministers emphasized the importance of collaboration to boost trade exchange and expand industrial cooperation, reflecting a shared commitment to fostering economic growth and development. The virtual meeting served as a platform for both countries to outline strategic initiatives that could lead to a more robust partnership in the future.
