Doha: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met with HE Foreign Minister of the new Syrian administration Asaad Al Shibani, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting centered around enhancing bilateral cooperation, with a focus on humanitarian work and development.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also covered the latest developments in Syria, with a particular emphasis on increasing Qatari humanitarian aid to support the Syrian people. Both parties explored various topics of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts.
During the meeting, HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to bolstering international efforts aimed at increasing humanitarian support for Syria.
