Doha: Minister of State for International Cooperation, Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, met Tuesday with HE President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), David Miliband, who is on a visit to the country. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the State of Qatar and the IRC, with a particular emphasis on conflict-stricken areas such as the Gaza Strip and Syria. According to Qatar News Agency, both parties explored avenues to strengthen their partnership and discussed the IRC's initiatives in conflict zones. The discussions highlighted the ongoing efforts by the IRC to address humanitarian needs in these regions, and both sides expressed their commitment to working collaboratively on a range of topics of shared interest.
