Cairo: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met on Monday with HE Minister for International Development of the United Kingdom Anneliese Dodds, on the sidelines of the Cairo Ministerial Conference to Enhance Humanitarian Response in Gaza. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries, especially in the development field; the developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, Lebanon, and Syria; and the humanitarian situation in Sudan. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the ministers were aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and addressing urgent humanitarian needs in conflict-affected regions. The ministers explored potential collaborative efforts to support development initiatives and humanitarian aid, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in addressing crises. The talks also covered strategic approaches to improve conditions in Gaza, alongside broader regional stability and support for vulnerable populations.
