HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with HE Deputy Administrator for Policy and Programming at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Isobel Coleman, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The two sides discussed the close strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and promote them, and strengthening the cooperation between Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and the USAID. The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, Syria, Sudan, Afghanistan, Ukraine and the Caribbean countries, and ways of cooperation in development projects in these countries. The meeting was attended by Acting Director General of Qatar Fund for Development Sultan bin Ahmed Al Aseeri, and Acting Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nofe Khalid Al Suwaidi.
