Doha: HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani met with HE Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Transport and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt Lt. Gen. Kamel Abdelhadi El Wazir. During their discussion, the focus was on enhancing bilateral cooperation in transportation and port development between Qatar and Egypt.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting included in-depth discussions on supporting and advancing joint efforts in eco-friendly technologies within land transport services and maritime navigation. Both parties expressed a commitment to exploring new avenues for sustainable development and improving transportation infrastructure.
HE Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar, Amr Kamal El-Din El-Sherbiny, attended the meeting, underscoring the importance of diplomatic engagement in fostering these bilateral ties. The discussions are expected to pave the way for future collaborations that contribute to environmental sustainability in the region.
