Doha:The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has entered into a cooperation agreement with Qatar Post, authorizing the latter to deliver business licensing services via the Ministry's Single Window platform.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mubarak Abdulrahman Al Khelaifi, Director of the Single Window Department at MOCI, and Hamad Mohammed Al Fahida, CEO of Postal Operations at Qatar Post. The initiative aims to enhance integration between the two entities and develop services for investors and entrepreneurs by utilizing Qatar Post's postal and logistics capabilities.
The cooperation is expected to streamline procedures, enhance service efficiency, and improve the overall experience for beneficiaries. Under the agreement, Qatar Post will enable investors, entrepreneurs, and private-sector clients to apply for licensing and business establishment services directly through the Single Window platform, adhering to applicable laws and procedures.
The service is anticipated to accelerate the process of business establishment, simplify the investor journey, and enhance service quality through an efficient and integrated digital experience. This move supports digital transformation and strengthens Qatar's business environment.
Al Khelaifi noted that this agreement is part of a series of collaborations the Ministry is undertaking with various national entities to facilitate investor procedures and provide specialized services to the business sector. This supports private-sector growth and aligns with Qatar's National Vision 2030 by enhancing the investment environment and supporting business growth.
Al Fahida stated that the agreement illustrates Qatar Post's dedication to developing its services and expanding cooperation with government entities to facilitate procedures for investors and entrepreneurs. By providing access to business licensing and establishment services through the Single Window platform, Qatar Post aims to offer a more convenient and efficient experience for beneficiaries, contributing to the digital transformation and development of Qatar's business landscape.
