Ministry of Justice Holds Workshop on Governance and Change Management

Doha: The Ministry of Justice's Planning, Quality and Innovation Department recently concluded a workshop focused on governance and change management. This event saw participation from various heads and staff members of the ministry.

According to Qatar News Agency, the workshop aimed at fostering a unified understanding of governance concepts, elaborating on its core principles, and delineating the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders and work teams. It also emphasized the integrative relationship among Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).

The discussions included governance frameworks aligned with international standards and best practices, featuring an introduction to the ISO 37000 standard. Additionally, the workshop explored how governance impacts the efficiency of institutional performance, enhances transparency, and supports sustainability in operations.

This initiative is part of the Ministry of Justice's broader efforts to develop the institutional work environment, consolidate governance practices, and build institutional capabilities. These efforts are directed towards achieving the ministry's strategic objectives.
