Doha: The Ministry of Labor, in partnership with Qatar University (QU), held a closing ceremony today to honor the participants of the Second Career Camp for University Students.
According to Qatar News Agency, the camp was organized in collaboration with QU's Career Development Student Association and supported by the Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC). Sponsorship was provided by Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) and Starlink company, showcasing a commitment to fostering future talent.
The five-day Career Camp was designed to empower university students nearing graduation by equipping them with essential skills and tools necessary for navigating the job market. Participants gained valuable insights into potential career paths, professional training opportunities, and the evolving demands of the labor market.
The camp's comprehensive program included practical workshops, interactive activities, and field visits to professional workplaces. These initiatives offered students firsthand exposure to workplace environments, fostering self-development, confidence, and enhancing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Furthermore, participants applied their newly acquired knowledge through hands-on projects and engaging workshops. This approach enabled them to develop versatile professional competencies applicable across various industries, thus preparing them to meet the challenges of the modern workforce.
