According to Qatar News Agency, the workshop is part of the Ministry's efforts to support Home-Grown projects by educating project owners about their tax responsibilities and the country's tax regulations. The MSDF emphasized that this initiative aligns with their goal of fostering a culture of sustainability and encouraging individuals and families to shift from consumption to production.
Director of the Family Empowerment Department at MSDF, Fatima Al Nuaimi, stated: "At the Ministry of Social Development and Family, we are committed to fully supporting the owners of Home-Grown projects and enhancing their contribution to the local economy." Al Nuaimi highlighted the Ministry's ongoing collaboration with relevant authorities to organize training courses and workshops. These efforts aim to develop the skills of project owners, enabling them to present their products in accordance with local market demands, thereby reinforcing their active participation in the nation's progress.
The workshop also aimed to provide participants with practical guidance on managing their tax affairs effectively, enhancing compliance, and contributing to the growth of their businesses. Topics covered included an overview of the GTA, registration steps on the electronic tax portal, and guidance on submitting simplified tax returns for Home-Grown project owners.
