Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) closed Thursday at 4,705.83 points, marking a decrease of 8.1 points or 0.17 percent compared to the previous trading session, which was recorded at 4,713.96 points. According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value experienced a significant increase, amounting to OMR 9,284, which represents a rise of 58.5 percent from the last trading session's value of OMR 5,856. Additionally, the report issued by MSX highlighted an increase in market value by 0.292 percent from the prior trading day, reaching approximately OMR 27.55 billion.
