The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli Knesset's adoption of bills banning the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA)'s activities in the occupied Palestinian territories. An MWL statement on Tuesday slammed the move as a systematic continuation of the Israeli occupation government violations that politically and militarily target the UN agencies and relief organizations. Denouncing Israeli decisions related to the rights of the Palestinian people, the statement reiterated the MWL's support and solidarity with UNRWA in its humanitarian mission to provide relief to Palestinian refugees. It also warned the serious repercussions of these ongoing Israeli violations of all international and humanitarian laws and norms, which undermine all efforts to end the tragedies in the Palestinian territories, and the chances of achieving comprehensive and just peace.
