Doha: The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the announcement by US President Donald Trump of a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israeli entity. The General Secretariat commended the efforts made to reach this agreement and urged full commitment to respect and implement it, expressing hope that it would de-escalate the situation and advance the foundations of security, peace, and stability throughout the region.
