Oil Prices Fall About 1% at Settlement

Doha: Oil prices fell by about 1 percent at settlement on Tuesday. Brent crude futures declined by 82 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $77.08 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by 65 cents, or 0.9 percent, to $73.21 a barrel.

According to Qatar News Agency, both benchmarks hit their lowest levels in nearly four months during the trading session. The decline in prices reflects market reactions and adjustments as traders responded to prevailing economic conditions and potential shifts in supply and demand dynamics.
