Post: Oil Prices Fall as Middle East Supply Concerns Diminish

Abu Dhabi:Asian Markets Oil prices fell in Asian trading today as concerns over Middle East supplies eased.

According to Qatar News Agency, Brent crude futures declined by USD 0.72, or 0.7 percent, to USD 103.53 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped by USD 0.52, or 0.6 percent, to USD 90.97 per barrel.

US President Donald Trump's remarks, describing ongoing talks with Iran as constructive, contributed to the reduction in supply concerns.

Despite the decline, Brent crude is still on track for a weekly gain, having increased by 4 percent by the close of trading on Thursday.
