Doha: Oman reaffirmed its commitment to continuing transparent and impartial cooperation with all parties to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, in full accordance with international law.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Sultanate has consistently affirmed, in discussions and proposals related to navigation through the strait, its full commitment to its obligations as a state party to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. It called on all parties to respect and abide by international law.
