Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met today with Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Rustam Omerov, who is visiting Muscat, to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields and exploring ways to enhance the partnership between Oman and Ukraine. Both parties expressed a commitment to advancing collaboration and fostering stronger ties between their nations.
On the topic of regional developments and efforts to achieve security and stability, the officials reaffirmed their countries' support for de-escalation and emphasized the importance of containing the escalation. They agreed on seeking negotiated solutions and achieving lasting peace through dialogue and peaceful means among the concerned parties.
