Oman with 11 Teams to Compete at Gulf Games in Doha

Doha: The Oman Olympic Committee announced it will participate in the fourth Gulf Games in Doha from May 11 to 22 with a delegation of 78 athletes across 11 teams competing in 11 sports.

According to Qatar News Agency, the sports include aquatics, taekwondo, table tennis, women's 3x3 basketball, bowling, shooting, athletics, fencing, billiards and snooker, volleyball, and karate. The Omani delegation is headed by President of the Olympic Committee Azan bin Qais Al Said, and includes Secretary-General Abdullah Bamukhalif and several officials.

The Doha 2026 Gulf Games will see broad GCC participation, with more than 1,074 athletes from six countries competing in 19 sports, reflecting the event's growing organizational and technical stature as a leading regional sporting event.
