Muscat: Chairman of the State Council of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, engaged in discussions on Monday with Xiao Jie, the visiting Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China. The talks focused on bilateral relations and strategies to enhance joint cooperation between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting also involved an exchange of views on several regional and international issues that are of mutual interest to both Oman and China.
