One Dead, Three Injured in Egypt Train Collision

Cairo: One person has been killed and three others injured after a passenger train collided with a truck in Egypt, authorities said. A statement from the Egyptian National Railways indicated that the incident took place as a passenger service traveling between Moharram Bek and Marsa Matrouh in the country's north-west struck the vehicle, which was crossing the tracks at an unauthorized point.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement mentioned that the injured were taken to El Alamein Hospital for treatment. The railway authorities noted that the train resumed its journey approximately 10 minutes after the accident.
