West bank: A Palestinian was killed and eight others were injured today during Israeli occupation forces' raids on several cities in the West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing security sources, reported that a 20-year-old Palestinian was killed after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces at the Meitar checkpoint near the town of Adh Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, killing him instantly.
A young man was shot in the foot by live ammunition in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem. Two young men were also injured by Israeli occupation forces' fire in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin. Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at civilians during their raid on the town. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its crews treated two seriously injured people in Qabatiya by Israeli occupation forces and transferred them to Jenin Governmental Hospital.
Four Palestinians were also injured by Israeli forces, one of them seriously, during their raid on Al-Amari refugee camp, south of Ramallah. A 14-year-old boy was injured during an Israeli raid on the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah. Israeli forces severely beat him after he was injured.
