Post: Palestinian Casualties Increase Amid Israeli Shelling in Gaza

Gaza:A Palestinian man died from injuries sustained in an Israeli strike, with several others also wounded due to ongoing Israeli shelling and gunfire in the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the man succumbed to his injuries inflicted by an Israeli attack on Monday targeting civilians in Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip. This incident brings the number of deaths from that particular strike to two, alongside multiple injuries.

In a separate incident in Gaza City, two Palestinians were injured by gunfire from remote-controlled weapon stations operated by Israeli forces along Salah al-Din Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

Additionally, in the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was wounded by Israeli forces in Al-Bureij refugee camp. This area also experienced artillery shelling as Israeli military vehicles advanced east of Deir al-Balah. Further incidents of gunfire were reported at the entrance to Al-Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and in the area east of Hamad City, north of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,382, with the number of wounded reaching 175,416. Despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel that came into effect last October, Israeli forces have continued to breach the agreement with ongoing airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire across different parts of the Gaza Strip.
