Gaza: The Palestinian government called for urgent international action to stop Israeli's occupation use of starvation as a weapon against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, during its session on Tuesday, the Palestinian Cabinet urged the international community to take firm measures against Israeli's occupation violations of international law, including its plans to seize more land in Area "C" and forcibly displace residents from communities in the Jordan Valley, Masafer Yatta, and other areas.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa stated that his government is actively engaging with international partners to mobilize support for the upcoming International Peace Conference, which will be hosted by the United Nations and co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France in mid-June in New York. The conference aims to advance efforts toward the realization of a Palestinian state.
Gaza is currently experiencing a catastrophic humanitarian crisis due to Israeli's occupation ongoing blockade of humanitarian aid, including the denial of medical supplies and equipment to hospitals since March 2. Over two million people remain in camps and shelters under dire living conditions.
