The race has also been rescheduled to start at 10:45 local time tomorrow, Wednesday, after the women's race, which was scheduled to start at 8:00. The International Triathlon Union said in a statement that the events could be held next Friday, if one or both races cannot be held for any emergency reason, explaining that tests conducted on the Seine River water showed that the water quality did not provide sufficient guarantees to allow the race to be held.
