Post: President al-Assad issues a legislative decree granting postgraduate doctors 100% compensation for the work nature

Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad issued on Wednesday Legislative Decree No. 24 of 2024, granting postgraduate doctors in medical colleges a work nature compensation of 100 % of the monthly fixed salary on the date of work performance. The decree stipulated that this compensation would be granted on condition that actual work is carried out in hospitals and health centers affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This decree comes in view of the similarity of the work performed by post-graduate students in medical colleges with the work carried out by doctors working or contracted in hospitals and health centers.
