Doha: HE President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Felix Tshisekedi left Doha on Sunday evening following a visit to the country. His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were seen off upon departure from Hamad International Airport by HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi and HE Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the State of Qatar Valerie Lusamba Kabeya.
According to Qatar News Agency, the visit aimed to strengthen ties between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the State of Qatar. Discussions during the visit focused on areas of mutual interest, including economic cooperation and diplomatic relations.
The departure of President Tshisekedi marks the conclusion of a significant diplomatic engagement between the two countries. The visit is expected to pave the way for future collaborations and strategic partnerships.
