Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a meeting with a British parliamentary delegation on Tuesday. The delegation was from the House of Commons and the House of Lords, led by HE Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Mark Garnier. It included HE Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Department of Health and Social Care MP Dr. Zubir Ahmed, HE Chair of the International Development Committee in the House of Commons MP Sarah Champion, and HE Member of the House of Lords, Lord Ross Kempsell. This meeting was part of the events on the sidelines of the Qatar Economic Forum 2025.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions during the meeting focused on the cooperation relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom, exploring ways to support and enhance these relations further. The leaders also engaged in exchanging views on topics included in the forum's agenda, as well as discussing several matters of mutual interest.
