Post: Prime Minister Engages with Gulf Counterparts on Regional Stability

Doha: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held separate phone calls with key foreign ministers from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. These discussions focused on bilateral cooperation and recent regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the conversations emphasized diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and enhance security in the region. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of commitment to dialogue and diplomacy among all parties. He stressed the need for the implementation of agreements made in the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly concerning the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Prime Minister reiterated Qatar's support for initiatives aimed at defusing tensions and achieving a comprehensive agreement for permanent peace in the region.
