Doha: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met today with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Safadi, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting focused on discussing cooperation relations between the two nations and exploring ways to support and enhance these ties. It also addressed the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to reduce escalation and promote security and stability in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's support for diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at ensuring freedom of maritime navigation. He emphasized the importance of these efforts in paving the way towards reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
