Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a meeting with HE Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, Maria Malmer Stenergard, who is currently visiting Qatar. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Sweden, alongside discussions on mediation efforts involving the United States and Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions included strategies for coordinating support for mediation aimed at reducing tensions in the region. The goal is to enhance regional security and stability through diplomatic efforts.
During their talks, HE the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of positive engagement from all parties involved in the mediation process. This approach aims to address the underlying issues of the crisis through dialogue and peaceful means, ultimately leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents further escalation.
