Prime Minister of Qatar Holds Important Discussion with Egypt’s Foreign Minister

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty. During this conversation, the focus was on the cooperation relations between Qatar and Egypt and exploring ways to support and strengthen these ties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the call also covered developments in the region, with particular emphasis on the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both leaders discussed efforts aimed at de-escalation, which would contribute to enhancing security and stability in the region.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties responding to ongoing mediation efforts. He stressed that such responses should open the path to addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, ultimately leading to a lasting agreement that would prevent renewed escalation.
