Post: Profit of Baladna Surges 118.4%; QEWC’s Profit Rises 7%

Doha: Baladna's net profits surged 118.4 percent in the first nine months of 2024 to reach QR 141.014 million, compared to QR 64.555 million for the same period of the previous year. Data issued by the company and published on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) website on Sunday showed an increase in earnings per share (EPS) to QR 0.074 in the period ending Sep. 30, 2024, compared to earnings per share QR 0.034 for the same period of 2023. In turn, the net profits of Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) increased by 7 percent in the period ending Sep. 30, 2024, to reach QR 1.189 billion, compared to QR 1.109 billion in the same period of 2023.
