According to Qatar News Agency, the goals for Paris Saint-Germain were scored by Portugal's Goncalo Ramos, Quentin Ndjantou, and Desirea Doue in the 31st, 39th, and 63rd minutes, respectively. The goals for Metz were scored by Jessy Deminguet and Georgia's Giorgi Tsitaishvili in the 42nd and 81st minutes. With their eleventh win of the season, against three draws and two losses, Paris Saint-Germain raised their points total to 36 points, claiming the provisional lead by a two-point margin over former leaders Lens, who will host Nice on Sunday in the same round. In contrast, Metz suffered their fourth consecutive defeat and eleventh of the season, against three wins and two draws. Their points total remains at 11 points, placing them in the 18th and last position in the standings.
