Post: Public Prosecution to Organize Workshop on Improving System of Combating Money Laundering and Financing Terrorism on Sunday

Doha: The Public Prosecution in cooperation with the US Department of the Treasury and the US Department of Justice will organize on Sunday a four-day workshop under the title 'improving anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing system: a comprehensive approach to reducing financial crimes'. In a statement on Wednesday, the Public Prosecution indicated that the workshop will provide an appropriate atmosphere for the participating high-level delegations, experts, and academics to discuss all issues related to money laundering and terrorist financing, especially banking supervision of combating money laundering and terrorist financing, money patterns in the Middle East and North Africa region, financial technology and digital currencies, international cooperation in the field of law enforcement and prosecutions, and various other topics.
