Doha: The State of Qatar and Antigua and Barbuda have inked an air services agreement, facilitating unlimited and unrestricted traffic rights for the designated airlines of both nations for passenger and cargo flights.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was signed by HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Thani and HE Antigua and Barbuda's Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transport and Investment Charles Fernandez. This initiative aims to connect Qatar with more air services agreements, enabling the national carrier to expand its reach to more global destinations.
In a meeting following the signing ceremony, the two ministers engaged in discussions concerning bilateral relations, particularly focusing on transportation, civil aviation, air transportation, and exploring avenues to enhance these sectors.
