Cairo:HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi met with Egypt's Minister of Justice, Counselor Mahmoud Helmy El Sherif, during a workshop on international humanitarian law in Cairo, Egypt.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law of Qatar and its Egyptian counterpart. The discussions also covered the work and role of the Arab Permanent Committee for International Humanitarian Law.
Counselor Mahmoud Helmy El Sherif expressed support for Al Suwaidi's recent election as the first Chair of the Arab Permanent Committee for International Humanitarian Law, emphasizing Egypt's commitment to supporting the Committee's initiatives and strengthening its legal and humanitarian influence in the Arab region.
