Tokyo: The fifth round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and Japan took place in Tokyo on Thursday. Leading the Qatari delegation was HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, while HE Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Toshihide Ando headed the Japanese delegation. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions centered on bilateral cooperation relations and explored ways to support and enhance them. The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan Jaber bin Jarallah Al Marri along with the accompanying delegation, reflecting the commitment of both nations to strengthening their diplomatic ties.
