Doha: The Parliamentary Friendship Group between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Kazakhstan recently convened via videoconference to discuss ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two nations. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both countries to bolster their existing relationship through legislative collaboration. According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by HE Member of the Shura Council and Chairman of the Qatari-Kazakh Friendship Group, Eng. Ahmed bin Hitmi Al Hitmi. On the Kazakh side, HE Member of the Kazakh Parliament Erlan Barlybaev spearheaded the discussions. The dialogue focused on expanding and developing parliamentary relations to further the mutual interests of Qatar and Kazakhstan, fostering deeper ties between their respective peoples and governments.
