Post: Qatar and Pakistan Explore Enhanced Private Sector Collaboration

Doha: Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, a board member of the Qatar Chamber, recently met with Mehmood Arshad, head of the Pakistani side of the Qatari-Pakistani Business Council, to discuss strategies for strengthening bilateral trade and investment between Qatar and Pakistan. The meeting primarily aimed at enhancing cooperation between the private sectors of both countries, focusing on key economic and commercial fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Obaidli emphasized the Qatar Chamber's commitment to fostering strong ties between Qatari and Pakistani companies through authentic partnerships and mutual investments. He underscored Qatar's substantial economic potential, along with the various incentives and facilities available to attract foreign investment.

Al Obaidli highlighted several promising sectors for business collaboration, including banking, real estate, trade, and technology. He encouraged Pakistani companies and investors to consider investing in Qatar, citing the country's position as a regional hub for logistics and food security, supported by advanced infrastructure.

Arshad expressed Pakistan's keen interest in capitalizing on investment opportunities in Qatar. He advocated for collaboration with Qatari firms on joint ventures that would provide mutual benefits to both economies.
