Qatar and Ukraine Discuss Strengthening Cooperation on Sidelines of Rome Conference.

Rome: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, on the margins of the MED Mediterranean Dialogues Conference in Rome, Italy. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and Qatar's efforts in reuniting Ukrainian families affected by the Russia-Ukraine crisis. According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions aimed to bolster ties between Qatar and Ukraine. Dr. Al Khulaifi emphasized Qatar's commitment to supporting global initiatives that seek a peaceful resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. He highlighted the importance of dialogue and peaceful means to prevent further escalation. HE Minister Sybiha expressed gratitude for Qatar's efforts in reuniting Ukrainian children with their families, acknowledging the country's role in mediating humanitarian efforts amidst the ongoing crisis.
