Doha: The Qatar national athletics team departed today for Tunisia to participate in the 11th Arab U-18 Athletics Championships, set to be held from August 23 to 27. The Qatari delegation includes 10 athletes, who will compete in both track and field events. According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatar Athletics Federation emphasized that the goal of participating in the championship is to win medals and continue Qatar's track record of regional success in athletics. The Federation also expressed confidence in the promising young talents expected to compete strongly in both track and field disciplines. The delegation is headed by President of the Qatar Athletics Federation Mohammed Issa Al Fadala.
