According to Qatar News Agency, the 5th Fiesta de la Lectura Costa Rica 2026 is highlighting Qatar's literary and cultural contributions. A pavilion, inspired by traditional Qatari architecture, has been set up to feature publications from the Ministry of Culture. It includes works translated into Spanish, alongside books and intellectual works by Qatari authors. This initiative provides a platform for the global audience to experience Qatar's rich literary landscape.
Visitors to the festival can engage in interactive activities that delve into traditional Qatari crafts and Arabic calligraphy. These elements are designed to offer a comprehensive view of the nation's artistic traditions. Jassem Ahmed Al Buainain, director of the Doha International Book Fair, emphasized the role of culture in fostering dialogue and understanding among nations.
