Qatar Celebrates Founder’s Anniversary with Achievements Under Amir’s Leadership

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani emphasized that Qatar is celebrating this year's anniversary of its founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, amidst significant accomplishments across various domains under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister highlighted that the National Day slogan, "With You It Rises, From You It Awaits," reflects the nation's confident strides towards the future, reinforced by unity and belonging among Qatar's leadership, citizens, and residents. This slogan signifies the country's expectation for all to contribute to sustaining Qatar's leadership in sustainable development, social welfare, and economic prosperity, while preserving its religious and national values.

In his remarks, HE the Prime Minister stated that National Day serves as an enduring occasion to renew loyalty to Qatar's leadership, drawing inspiration from past sacrifices and achievements. He stressed the importance of upholding the principles established by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, ensuring that Qatar remains a bastion of security, peace, and prosperity.

HE the Prime Minister noted that Qatar is advancing its development journey with a clear vision, maintaining economic growth, and translating Qatar National Vision 2030 into tangible outcomes. He emphasized the role of state institutions in achieving goals through initiatives in energy, infrastructure, education, health care, and economic diversification.

Further, HE the Prime Minister underscored Qatar's efforts to promote regional and international security through active partnerships with the global community. He highlighted Qatar's legacy of dialogue and peace, affirming its commitment to resolving conflicts and preventing them through preventive diplomacy. Qatar's mediation efforts, ranging from the war in Gaza to peace agreements in Africa, were also emphasized.

HE the Prime Minister added that Qatar's approach to mediation and its hosting of major global events underscore its commitment to peace and international solidarity, reflecting its status as a strategic UN partner. He also mentioned Qatar's bid to host the 2036 Olympic and Paralympic Games, showcasing its prominence in international sports.
