Qatar Central Bank Governor Engages in Economic Transformation Dialogue at World Government Summit

Dubai: HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank, Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, participated Tuesday in a session jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance of the United Arab Emirates and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The session, titled "Economic Transformation in the Gulf States: Innovative Finance and the Role of Fiscal and Monetary Policies," was part of the World Government Summit held in Dubai.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session featured the participation of HE Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, and HE Head of the Cyber Security Council for the UAE Government, Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti. The event was part of the larger World Government Summit 2026, which runs from February 3 to 5 and is themed "Shaping Future Governments." This year, the summit boasts the largest international participation in its history, gathering heads of state, government leaders, policymakers, and experts from around the world.
